The things we love about Mt. Pleasant are the
proximity to the beach, the friendly people and the wide variety of activities
to engage in. A great place to raise a family and create a long lasting circle
of friends.
Ivy Hall is a small quiet neighborhood with a
mix of generations. Lots of sidewalks for walking and a quaint park for
children or dogs to run and play. A friendly neighborhood that is a great
location on the north side of town.
We love to ride our bikes to Mellow Mushroom.
We also enjoy eating at East Bay Deli, Carrabas, Eggs Up Grill and Basil ThaiRestaurant.
When we bought the property we were drawn to
the great location. We were close to our church, across the street from
Walmart, a stoplight down from Publix and a bike ride away from MellowMushroom. We love having so many conveniences right in our backyard.
The Charleston area has so much to offer. There
are great beaches, a plethora of cultural events, gourmet restaurants, unique
shopping and so much more. It has all you would want from a big city with a
small town feel.
A few other things to mention are the great
school systems, the many golf courses and outdoor activities and of course the
perfect weather. Ivy Hall is a great place to call home.
Of course we all enjoy different things. We
enjoy bike riding in the neighborhood. We also enjoy visiting the local parks
and beaches which are only a 10-20 minute drive.
Our electric expenses are average with
SCE&G...we like being able to know what to expect each month with their
budget program. Mt. Pleasant Waterworks is also very reasonable.
