WHAT THE SELLER SAYS ABOUT LIVING HERE:

The thing I love about living in Charleston means we are lucky enough to enjoy all that this award winning and survey winning town can offer.....historic architecture, amazing food and a small town feel with all the benefits of a city. Charleston has become known not only for their great hospitality but over the last decade it has turned into a true 'foodie town.' You can dine at a different award winning restaurant for a month straight and not run out of places to try.

When we bought the house we were drawn to it's proximity to downtown Charleston and it's public schools.  We wanted to make sure that we were able to truly enjoy everything that Charleston has to offer. With our location we are literally only minutes to the Charleston River Dogs, the Historic District and all the restaurants on Upper King.

We love the Charleston area due to our ability to enjoy the great outdoors while still having the benefits of a modern city. Whether it means taking the boat out for a sunset cruise, to catching a play during Spoleto, taking a walk through the historic neighborhoods, or stopping by the Apple Store on King Street.

A few other things that I can mention are the enhancements being given to Harbor View Road. Once this project is completed we'll be able to walk on the new sidewalks to Harris Teeter, drug store and the Ellis Creek Fish Camp. I would also advise anyone moving to our area to take advantage of the shopping available not only in downtown Charleston, but also in Mount Pleasant and the outlet malls in North Charleston.

Stiles Point Plantation is the perfect neighborhood for families of any configuration. It's diverse enough to be the ideal place for newlyweds, established families and empty nesters. It is an ideal neighborhood for casual walks at sunset to morning runs before the day begins. And with the neighborhood's 5 acre field we also offer something that most new neighborhoods do not....space! Space to play tennis, entertain the kids at our playground, a game of touch football as well as enough room to play catch with your favorite canine.

With the plethora of restaurants available to us there literally are too many to list. It seems as if a new one opens up every week. Our favorite neighborhood spot to grab a quick meal or to enjoy Happy Hour is the Ellis Creek Fish Camp. It is only 4 minutes from the house located on Harbor View Road. Make sure to try their Crispy Catfish Bites, Blue Corn Hushpuppies and their Portabella Fries.

What we love to do most in Charleston is to explore the area as if we were on vacation. Charleston is one of the top vacation spots in America and we are fortunate enough to have it only minutes from home.

Being a diverse family we are fortunate that we can enjoy so many different activities only a few minutes from the house. Fine and Casual Dining, Ghost Tours, Golf and Tennis, Kayaking, Boating, Nature Trails, Award Winning Plays and Concerts. Charleston and the surrounding areas offer something for everyone in your family.

Our utility costs are better than we have experienced due to our change to a highly efficient pool pump at the beginning of 2015. Our electricity is through SCE&G.
