Welcome home to 1125 Bristol Terrace!
This three bedroom, two and a half bath home sits on a large cul-de-sac lot with a very large yard with beautiful shade trees, a garden and new sod that was put down earlier this year. The fenced backyard could be large enough for a pool or to build an addition onto the home. This house has a great flow, starting in the living room with vaulted ceilings, and leads into the recently renovated kitchen. The recessed lighting, along with the bright and clean feel of quartz counter tops makes this floor plan both functional and cozy.
Here is why the sellers LOVE living here:
There are too many things we love about Mt Pleasant to list! The schools, the proximity to the beach, the short drive downtown and the short drive up the road to local shrimping communities as well as places to take our kayaks are just a few of the many reasons we love it here. While one of us works north of town, and the other works downtown, both of our commutes are equal and simple. Mt Pleasant is beautiful, and everything you need is right here!
We love to eat at local restaurants, and we love that we have our pick almost any time! While there are world-class restaurants just over the Ravenel Bridge in downtown Charleston, we have found amazing local food in our own part of town as well. You can sneak up Hwy 17 North as well and find local places like Sewee to find some of the best local seafood in town!
When we bought the property, we were drawn to the central, yet "tucked away," proximity it has to shopping, Boone Hall Plantation, a movie theater, interstates, the airport, beaches, restaurants and our church.
The Charleston and Mt. Pleasant area is a magical place to call home. For us, it is where we met and fell in love, and it's a city that we continue to fall in love with each year!
1- We love our lot. It has just the right amount of mature trees and space, which is almost impossible to find in the Mt. Pleasant area. It also has a separate fenced space for a boat with a shed.
2- You can't beat the award winning public schools.
3- History surrounds you. Living across the street from beautiful Boone Hall Plantation and being so close to National Historic Sites and nature preserves cannot be overrated.
Take your pick when it comes to hobbies! The area is full of great places to go and fun things to see. Music festivals and small venue concerts, kayaking on the tidal creeks and rivers, and boating with your friends and family. There is fishing, shopping, beach-going and dining out. We cannot think of a better place to live that has this much to do!
Our utility costs are better than we expected after we installed all new Energy Star appliances and Nest thermostats in 2015.
This couple was such a treat to help purchase this home; we are so grateful we get to help them again! I SO love the yard and the cul de sac of this property!
