Why the seller loves living here:

The thing I love about Charleston is that it is an amazing city with tons of history. It provides everything including beaches, restaurants, nightlife. The people however are Charleston's greatest asset.

Avondale is close to downtown and Folly Beach. The "walkability" is my favorite part of this neighborhood. You can easily walk to the great bars and restaurants in Avondale and bike over the Greenway.  Avondale is great for walking the dogs and you can be on Folly beach within 15 minutes of leaving the house.

It is impossible to name just one restaurant that I love the most. All of the places here in Avondale are great and have a "neighborhood" feel.  Harris Teeter is just down the street and the new Whole Foods will be opening soon. Almost everything you need is within a 2 mile radius of Avondale.

One of the greatest parts about Charleston is the access to the beaches and its history. One of the best things about Lindendale Ave is that it is not a "through" street and there is very little traffic or noise.

Avondale is great for walking the dogs and you can be on Folly beach within 15 minutes of leaving the house.

Why the seller has loved living here!

The things we love about Mount Pleasant is the proximity to the beach and downtown. It has great shopping and several outdoor farmers markets. With all the neighborhoods, it feels safe and very family oriented.

Our neighborhood is in a great location in Mount Pleasant. All the neighbors on our street are friendly and welcoming. It is quiet and wooded and has an overall great atmosphere.

We love to eat at the Rusty Rudder, an outdoor low country restaurant in Mount Pleasant that features seafood and other southern favorites.

When we bought the property we were drawn to the convenience of the 24-hour Harris Teeter just up the road and the newly built Roper Hospital.

The Charleston area is wonderful with the water so close and the endless opportunities for outdoor activities. We go to RiverDogs games and the Volvo Cup concert series in the summers. The downtown market is fun to walk through and the carriage rides are a great way to learn about the history here.

A few other things that I can mention are the great schools Mount Pleasant has to offer and the numerous activities available to children of all ages at the Mount Pleasant Rec Department.

We enjoy the numerous parks in the area. We have a Goldendoodle and love to get him out on the weekends to walk and play ball. Coupled with the variety of great restaurants, we rarely leave Mount Pleasant on the weekends.

Of course we all like different things, we enjoy the water and boating. Brickyard has a boat landing that makes it easy for us to put our boat in and enjoy a day on the water.

Our utility costs are better than we have experienced before. We currently use SCE&G for electric and gas and Mount Pleasant Waterworks for our water. We have always been very happy with our service with them.

James Island ** Bayfield ** 33 Maplecrest ** Bayfield ** James Island

HERE IS WHY THE SELLER HAS LOVED LIVING HERE:

The things I love about Charleston are many-- We have the best food, the nicest people and a rich history. There's always something going on, a new activity to try, a new neighborhood to discover, or a new hobby to master. Being near the water, whether it is for a day on the boat or a day at the beach, is a way of life here. Charleston is the cultural and economic heart of South Carolina and the best part of the state to call home.

James Island is great because of its laid back and relaxed feel. Bars and restaurants are plentiful and the proximity to both downtown Charleston and Folly Beach can't be beat. Bayfield, in particular, is a very quiet and hidden neighborhood in the middle of it all. The streets are quiet and the neighbors are friendly. There are two supermarkets, a corner drug store and many restaurants in less than a 2-mile radius.

I love to eat at the new Sermets! It is within easy walking distance and is a local favorite. Other great spots nearby are Thai Elephants, Zia Taqueria, Cure Steakhouse, Mondo's Delight and White Duck Taco Shop.

When I bought this property, I was drawn to the location. I can get to downtown Charleston, the beach, or West Ashley within minutes. Bayfield, in particular, is nice because it can be accessed from multiple streets on James Island. If there is traffic on Folly Rd-- no problem! The property is accessible via Hunley, Patterson or Highland Avenues. If you're coming from the north side of the island, the neighborhood is accessible via S Anderson Ave from Camp Rd. No matter this situation, there is an alternative route!

The Charleston area is great for a vibrant music and food scene.A few other things I can mention are the proximity to great schools, the low association fees, and the sense of community. Bayfield is within walking distance of James Island Middle school. The monthly association fees are minimal, and include landscaping, maintenance of common areas, exterior paint and upkeep of driveways.

Of course we all like different things, but I particularly enjoy being close to the beach, the tidal creek access in the neighborhood and to James Island County Park. I spend Saturdays and Sundays paddling in my kayak-- the great thing is that there is easy access to the creek within a quarter mile of the front door.

Electric service is provided here by SCE&G. Rates are reasonable and I've had good service in this home with no unexpected interruptions. Cable/Internet options include Comcast and AT&T.

Why the seller LOVES living here!

The thing we love most about living in this part of the Charleston area is the value of purchasing here. We both work downtown and frequent the beach; the drive is very manageable and purchasing here allowed us to live in a much bigger home! Summerville is even closer and has everything we could ever need.

Our neighborhood is very quiet with neighbors that are friendly and vigilant about what goes on in the neighborhood. The best kind of neighbors in our opinion!
We don't eat out frequently but when we decide to there are countless options off of Rivers Avenue within a 5-7 minute drive.

As previously mentioned, this location is great because everything we need is very close. Just down the road (4-5 minutes) is a Bi-lo where we do all of our grocery shopping. Also in that shopping center is a Goodwill drop center, a hoppin' bar, an O2 Fitness gym, a few restaurants, and our dentist office!

There are countless reasons we love Charleston. Downtown, the beaches, plenty of sporting events, community events, Sunday farmer's markets, and more unbelievable restaurants than you could imagine!

A lot of people don't immediately consider the area if it's not in Mt. Pleasant, Charleston, or West Ashley but us living in Goose Creek affords us the ability to live within our means in a large home and still be close to those areas! We would recommend living in this area to anyone!

Our biggest hobbies include beach volleyball and the beach in general. While our location may seem counterproductive to those hobbies it really doesn't affect them at all. 25 minute easy drive and we're there!

Here is why the seller LOVES living here:

The things we love about our area is being able to walk to the local food spots in our own strip mall. Love the Mexican food! The title boxing gym is also a great workout and conveniently located.

Our neighborhood is great for anything...want to have a grill party at the pool, go for it. Want to have a quiet night in, no problem. Need a spot to hold a larger group, it's available.

We love to eat and everything you could want is within walking distance. Some of them deliver too (everyone enjoys a lazy day;)

When we bought the property we were drawn to the location, convenient to Food lion, workout gym is in the complex or for more of a challenge the title boxing gym is right there.

Home depot is right around the corner. It's going to be tough to find somewhere like this wherever we end up next.

The Charleston area is wonderful (in case you haven't heard) grab an Uber to Fleet Landing for some dinner, then walk around for a bit downtown and you'll understand.

A few other things that I can mention are that I love the storage unit and covered parking. And the fact that I don't have to do any yard work is pretty great. Everything that you cannot get from the local stores is no more than a 20 min drive away.

Of course we all like different things, we enjoy hockey and roller derby and they are just up HWY 26. The performing arts center and the Coliseum are 10 mins away! We love tailgates before the stingrays play!

We have SCG&E and the prices are cheap considering the size of this place.
