Goose Creek ** Crowfield Plantation ** 110 Brighton Court ** Crowfield Plantation ** Goose Creek

Why the seller has loved living here:

The things I love about Goose Creek are the convenient location, the mix of long-term residents and people who are new to the area.

Our neighborhood is great for outdoor living! If you like hiking or biking - or just walking the dog, there are miles of trails. There are a lovely pool and tennis courts just a short walk away. We love to sit on the deck and drink our morning coffee or cook out on Saturday evenings. The house is located on a quiet cul-de-sac and backs up to a "green belt". This means the backyard is a perfect place for bird feeders. There is no telling what you might see!

We love to eat at the breakfast room table, looking out the bay window into the back yard. When we have family or friends over, the dining room is a great space for big meals.
When we bought the property, we were impressed by the curb appeal of the house. Standing on the front porch while our realtor fiddled with the lock box, I looked up and saw the horse and cart weathervane. As a horse lover, I knew this was a good omen for our future. We were drawn to the versatility of the home, which includes formal dining room and living room (or study) but we really live in the large open floor plan area at the back of the house.

Running out to the store is never a chore because there are quality grocery stores no matter which way you exit the neighborhood. Publix is my "go to" store!
The combination of the historic setting and the cutting edge cultural scene makes Charleston a unique place to live.

This home is very easy to keep looking nice! It's so much easier to keep hardwood floors looking good than carpet. And after a hard day at the office, relax in the beautiful garden tub in the master bath.

This area has great schools right in the neighborhood and is convenient to major highways without being close enough to hear traffic noise.

Of course, everyone is different but we love the outdoors - hiking, kayaking the lowcountry rivers, or horseback riding. When we are home, my husband loves to cook - especially desserts. The spacious kitchen has lots of work room and is an efficient set up. He enjoys creating delicious treats - and I enjoy eating them. Now you know why I exercise outdoors so much!

This home is quite energy efficient, thanks to the new Trane heat pumps we have installed since we moved in. Our electric bill with Berkeley Electric Cooperative runs on average $150 per month. The sewer charge is $44 per month to Berkeley County Water & Sanitation. The water is provided by Charleston Public Works and runs under $30 per month.

Mount Pleasant ** Brickyard Plantation ** 2709 Merwether Lane ** Brickyard Plantation ** Mount Pleasant

WHY THE SELLER LOVES LIVING HERE:

The thing I love about Mt Pleasant is that is really has it all. The schools are fantastic and easily accessible. The shopping is especially convenient from Brickyard. You have your choice of supermarkets and big box, as well as smaller family-owned business both north and south along Highway 17.

As a foodie, restaurants are VERY important! We have high-end fine dining (Graze, Opal, Langdons) and kid friendly (Mellow Mushroom, Wasabi, Wild Wing, Matt's Pizza Dept), as well as easy take out : Carrabas, Chinese, MixAo Vietnamese, etc.

We love to eat at Opal (best pasta around, excellent charcuterie), Langdons (silkiest soup in the French tradition, very fresh seafood prepared with flair) Graze (calamari fries a must) and Crave (best dirty martini and lobster mac), Kanpai (some of the best sushi , ever).

Casual kid friendly? Page's Okra Grill, Sesame Burger, Wasabi, SOL, Ladles (check out the $5 quarts of chicken noodle!!! Excellent freezer food for colds!).  It just keeps getting better! Chipotle is upon us! Woo hoo!!

When we bought our property we were drawn to the conveniences of great food shopping. Having Boone Farm right across the way is a huge blessing!  Publix has the best fish department, hands down. They also do produce as good as anyone (although it's tough to beat Boone Hall's locally grown items at their peak). Need a custom birthday cake? Publix does an amazing job.  For a larger selection (especially in international or tricky ingredients) Harris Teeter is great, plus they have curbside pickup and now offer at home delivery.  Boone Hall is good for raw milk, great wine, NeNe's crumb cake (you'll thank us), produce, and a quick lunch at the dine-in area.

Mt Pleasant has some of the BEST outdoor festivals and events around. Boone Hall has oyster roasts, seasonal strawberry picking festivals, Halloween fright nights, Christmas events and terrific family oriented open-air concerts that always include local food trucks, tons of fun and games!

Brickyard is the most convenient neighborhood in Mt Pleasant while maintaining an upscale and peaceful atmosphere. Having a stoplight makes access to Highway 17 a breeze during commute hours; most neighborhood's have challenges in that area. There is an incredible family friendly atmosphere and emphasis on outdoor fun! There is no better neighborhood for a stroll, run, or bike ride. Our amenities are GREAT and so well maintained. Our proximity to the pool is the best! A 60 second bike ride makes joining one of the most excellent swim teams around so easy!

Take advantage of the parties thrown by the HOA at the pool and amenity center. It is a chance to meet some really special folks throughout the neighborhood. It's really great for the little ones to see their peers and future schoolmates!

Our proximity to the best elementary & middle school in town is awesome. You can be at ease knowing your kids will have continuity and get the BEST South Carolina can offer.  I have to mention that specifically, this home comes with some of the best neighbors you will ever have! We have folks that will keep a look out for you but won't be intrusive. We'll never forgot the wonderful people who we have been blessed to have met here.

Charleston is such a gem of a city. We relocated after falling in love with the area. It picked us! The southern charm it offers blended with with culture and class. The access to the beach and the country's quaintest and most delicious city made Mt Pleasant a perfect choice.  Brickyard was even easier. Well established foliage, homes with true charm and character, and a neighborhood with smiling kids walking their dogs or riding their bikes to the pool. It has been an honor to live here.

Of course we all have different interests, but Mount Pleasant really has it all. Exercise, food, music, art... it is all here for young and old.

Park Circle ** Oak Terrace Preserve ** 5264 East Dolphin Street ** Oak Terrace Preserve ** Park Circle

Here is why the seller loves living here!

The things we love about Park Circle are numerous and difficult to put into words. The area has a laid back vibe with access to wonderful restaurants and community events. We rarely leave the area! There is no need to! Park Circle is central to just about everything. So no matter where you are going, it takes approximately 15 minutes to get there. If you want to go to the beach, it takes 15 minutes. If you want to go downtown, it takes 15 minutes. If you want to go to West Ashley, it takes 15 minutes. But again, there is not much reason to leave. The revitalization that is happening in the area is unbelievable. Everyone is going to want to live here within the next 10 years so if you are smart you will move here now, why the getting is good.

Our neighborhood is great for young and old alike. There are a ton of kids and you will see them frequently in the neighborhood riding their bikes, playing in pocket parks and enjoying the playgrounds. When you leave your home and you pass a fellow neighbor, you know them, you wave to them and say, "Hello!" and even stop and chat for a bit. There is no putting your head down and pretending like you didn't see them. Throughout the year there are neighborhood events that bring everyone together. If you need a stick of butter, a box, a stack of magazines for a school project, put it on the Oak Terrace Preserve Facebook page. Within a couple of minutes you will have several neighbors offering to help. So many that you will have to turn some down. We look out for each other and help in any way that we can. There is a true sense of community and it makes all of the difference in the world.

We love to eat at Accent on Wine, Yo Bo Cantina, Lotus, EVO, Stems & Skins, Lola, The Cod Father, The BBQ Joint, The Junction, Basico, Sesame, Fratello's, and top everything off with an ice cream from Park Circle Creamery. See what I mean? There is no need to go anywhere else!

When we bought the property we were drawn to the uniqueness of the area. It has a small town feel with a hip vibe.

The Park Circle Area is unlike any other area. There truly is something for everyone here. If you like good food, it is here. If you like art, it is here. If you like knowing your neighbors and supporting your community, you will love it here. If you like the outdoors, you will love the numerous parks. We even have a disc golf course right in the center of the circle. The rec department has every sporting opportunity for your child you can imagine. There is swimming, tennis, soccer, football, baseball, and even an outdoor hockey court.

Although we feel like we have mentioned a lot already, there is still plenty more. The Riverfront Park is just around the corner on the old Navy shipyard. Something else you can find in our area is this boat you may have heard of called the Hunley.

The Riverfront Park has wonderful, free concerts during the summer that are very family friendly. Not to mention one of the best fireworks display on the Fourth of July. If you like to fish, there are plenty of fishing spots in the area. There is also a fountain that the kiddos can play in on hot summer days. In the center of the circle on Thursdays you can find a farmers market for local goodies and produce. In the community center they have exercise classes and antique shows on a regular basis. If your child plays baseball or T-ball, this is where you will watch them play. All throughout the day you will see folks walking or running the circle. During Christmas, there are lights set up that you can walk or drive through.

Our favorite thing to do in the area, other than enjoying the excellent restaurants and wine bars, is relaxing at Mixon Bath & Racquet Club. They have a pool which is a must for the kiddos during the summer. They too have events throughout the year including a New Year's Eve party, oyster roasts, holiday events including the Easter bunny and Santa Claus, and cabanas you can rent out for special events or just to watch one of your favorite teams play their rivals. If you are headed home and realize you need a bottle of wine, hop into Mixon Market. Their wine is on tap! Also located in Mixon is a barber, florist and one of the best spas in the area.

Of course we all like different things, but we enjoy the social aspects of the area. Our life revolves around our children and their activities so you will usually find us at one of the local sporting events or taking Jiu Jitsu classes at the church or Mixon. We see plenty of folks riding their bikes or fishing or playing disc golf. Another ‘can't miss’ event is the North Charleston Arts Festival. We even have a small theater downtown to catch local actors doing their thing. There truly is something for everyone.

Our neighborhood is Green Certified therefore our utilities are pretty low for the size of our home. We use SCE&G and Charleston Water.

Mount Pleasant, SC ** Snee Farm ** 1125 Bristol Terrace ** Snee Farm ** Mount Pleasant, SC

Welcome home to 1125 Bristol Terrace!

This three bedroom, two and a half bath home sits on a large cul-de-sac lot with a very large yard with beautiful shade trees, a garden and new sod that was put down earlier this year. The fenced backyard could be large enough for a pool or to build an addition onto the home. This house has a great flow, starting in the living room with vaulted ceilings, and leads into the recently renovated kitchen.  The recessed lighting, along with the bright and clean feel of quartz counter tops makes this floor plan both functional and cozy.
The master bedroom has a beautiful private view looking out to the trees and gardens, and has a separate full shower/bath as well as a custom built closet system, which utilizes all of the space efficiently. The recently renovated staircase and all new hardware on the doors , as well as hardwoods throughout, tile in the bathrooms and kitchen come together to complete the fresh modern feel. The garage can double as a workspace with clean epoxy floors, custom doors, a great desk for computers or tools and includes an air conditioning unit.  It’s easy to miss, but for extra storage, the shed is located behind its own fence in the backyard.
Here is why the sellers LOVE living here:

There are too many things we love about Mt Pleasant to list! The schools, the proximity to the beach, the short drive downtown and the short drive up the road to local shrimping communities as well as places to take our kayaks are just a few of the many reasons we love it here. While one of us works north of town, and the other works downtown, both of our commutes are equal and simple. Mt Pleasant is beautiful, and everything you need is right here!
Our neighborhood, Snee Farm, is a great place to call home. It is established and covered with custom homes, beautiful large yards and TREES! Any given day, you will see kids playing outside in the cul de sac, kids fishing in the tidal creeks with their parents and neighbors sharing meals. For golfers, there is a great course, and for families there is a community pool-- did we mention a swim team? The clubhouse has been recently renovated, and it has a little restaurant and bar that community members can attend socially. We have made our best friends here in this neighborhood.

We love to eat at local restaurants, and we love that we have our pick almost any time! While there are world-class restaurants just over the Ravenel Bridge in downtown Charleston, we have found amazing local food in our own part of town as well. You can sneak up Hwy 17 North as well and find local places like Sewee to find some of the best local seafood in town!
When we bought the property, we were drawn to the central, yet "tucked away," proximity it has to shopping, Boone Hall Plantation, a movie theater, interstates, the airport, beaches, restaurants and our church.
The Charleston and Mt. Pleasant area is a magical place to call home. For us, it is where we met and fell in love, and it's a city that we continue to fall in love with each year!

A few specific things that we can mention are:
1- We love our lot. It has just the right amount of mature trees and space, which is almost impossible to find in the Mt. Pleasant area. It also has a separate fenced space for a boat with a shed.
2- You can't beat the award winning public schools.
3- History surrounds you. Living across the street from beautiful Boone Hall Plantation and being so close to National Historic Sites and nature preserves cannot be overrated.
Take your pick when it comes to hobbies! The area is full of great places to go and fun things to see. Music festivals and small venue concerts, kayaking on the tidal creeks and rivers, and boating with your friends and family. There is fishing, shopping, beach-going and dining out. We cannot think of a better place to live that has this much to do!
Our utility costs are better than we expected after we installed all new Energy Star appliances and Nest thermostats in 2015.

WHY THE SELLER LOVES IT HERE:

The things we love about our town are almost too many to list. Summerville has that small town feel, yet the conveniences of a large town. We're minutes away from several of the historic plantations--Middleton being one our favorite, we visit the plantation and gardens year-round. As our children were growing up, Tim coached and assisted coaching nearly every sport they played and the schools (elementary through high school) are phenomenal. The feeling of community is sincerely what we love the most!

Our neighborhood is awesome. The home styles have a distinctive Southern style. The amenities are great. There are 2 pools including a kiddy pool, ponds for fishing, and lots of paved paths for walking and biking. The people are friendly with folks both young and old.
We frequently dine at several of our favorite places in Charleston (since we are only 35 mins or so away), locally we love Margarita's for Mexican, Red Pepper for Italian, Five Loaves for weekend lunches. Montreux is our favorite, the new outdoor dining area is a casual and fun environment!

When we first moved here there was a Piggly Wiggly within 2 miles. Now Publix, Walgreens, CVS, and Spinx are all within 2 Miles in Knightsville! Just a few miles away you will find Target and several Walmarts. For mall shopping and outlet shopping you're only about 20 mins from North Charleston!
